Climbing class and summer....

Last weekend I started my climbing class and first on the schedule was Belay weekend. To Belay someone means that you are in the non-climbing end of the rope making sure that the climber doesn't take a bad fall if/when he/she falls, a very important part for safe climbing. We learned how to safe get down from a cliff even though the equipment might fail. It is really different to climb outside but also more fun. The weather was not great, a bit cold, but sunny... In total we are about 70 people that takes the class so I hope to get to know some nice people. So far it looks promising, everyone is really nice and as there are new small groups every time I am sure that I will make some new friends...

I also put some pictures here from last weekend when the summer visited Boston. An amazing weekend with about 25 degrees... so the spring got a jump-start....

The Blue Hills south of Boston where we did the climbing

And now some summer/spring images from Boston, or actually Cambridge.

It is not very nice... but thats where I work... the taller building in the center of the picture
